Abbeville, S.C.-based Company Introduces New Broadband Service to Columbia County

It was a quiet weekday morning at Evans’ Woodlief subdivision when a West Carolina Rural Telephone Cooperative van pulled into a cul-de-sac on Wells Drive.
One might have assumed the driver was lost, having made a series of wrong turns to end up 50 miles from Abbeville County, S.C., where many rural residents know his employer as “the phone company.”
