The Salvation Army in Augusta has launched Real Estate for Rehabilitation program for Relator’s clients who are moving and deciding on what to keep and what to donate. They now can assist their clients by refer home buyers to the Real Estate for Rehabilitation brochures and business cards. 

By displaying Salvation Army Real Estate for Rehabilitation materials in Real Estate offices, Realtors can offer clients a gentle reminder that The Salvation Army would be happy to pick up their donations and use them to transform lives. 

With the success of the program that originated with The Salvation Army in Memphis, TN, it has now spread nationwide with more than 2,200 Relator’s participating. 

How It Works: a client sees The Salvation Army’s Real Estate for Rehabilitation materials in Relator’s office. The client calls 706-312-1979 to schedule a free pickup of gently used clothing, furniture, or other household items. The Salvation Army picks up the donation from the client’s home. The donation items are sold in your local Salvation Army Family Stores and proceeds are used by The Salvation Army’s Rehabilitation Centers to transform lives. 

When you donate their household items, clothing, electronics, furniture, or vehicles to The Salvation Army, the proceeds are used to fund our substance abuse Rehabilitation Centers where beneficiaries find help, hope, and a second chance at life through work therapy, education, counseling, and spiritual development.
