Forrester Named President of Georgia Bank & Trust Co.

Georgia Bank & Trust Co. on Thursday named Jay B. Forrester as its new president, replacing Ronald L. Thigpen, who was set to retire next year amid the bank’s pending merger with South Carolina-based South State Corp.
