In honor of Women's History Month the North Augusta Chamber is celebrating women's leadership with Ignite & Elevate: Generations of Women in History, as part of our Good Morning North Augusta breakfast series. WJBF's Mary Morrison will emcee this fantastic event. We will recognize some fierce, but often forgotten women in CSRA history, as well honor some new history-makers, the NAHS Lady Jackets Basketball team. The Lady Jackets had an unprecedented perfect season and are celebrating their state championship victory. The event will conclude with Rep. Katie Arrington from the SC House of Representatives will present on how to ignite your passion and elevate yourself in your professional and personal life.

Rep. Katie Arrington represents District 94 in the South Carolina House of Representatives. She currently serves as Vice President Operations, Military & Government, Dispersive Technologies Inc. a cyber software solutions provider, where she is responsible for leading all work with Defense Healthcare Agency, US Army, USMC and Navy, creating strategic campaigns for Business Development, fueling brand awareness through continuous engagement across the business community, and optimizing market positioning by rapidly responding to emerging trends, industry gaps, and customer needs. As a self-proclaimed “non-politician” Arrington works diligently in the state legislature, bringing her life experiences to help make South Carolina an even better place for our citizens.
