NA Chamber Presents The Power of Place

Friday, April 14th, 2017

Many of us spend a large amount of our lives at work, in our office space. That very office space can affect not only your productivity, but could affect how you feel when you're off the clock. The negative impacts of various office environments on health and productivity alone provide a compelling argument for the need to change the way we spend our work days.

The key to employee engagement is bringing people together with a sense of purpose in a place that will help them achieve their best work. However, the notion of that place often goes overlooked. But, when the workplace is designed to be a destination there are substantial gains in engagement and productivity to be discovered. To achieve this, a workplace must be not just a location to do work, but a place that balances collaboration with privacy; fosters cognitive, emotional and physical well-being and offers choice of control.
