There are three great ways to participate in this event:
BATTLE
WE'RE LOOKING FOR GROUPS of 2 or more participants to battle it out, ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE? Cost to enter is $100. More details can be found on the chamber website.
The competition will be judged in these categories:
Lip Sync Abilities: How well the performer(s) lip-sync the lyrics of the song.
Creativity: How original and creative the performance is. Instead of just standing on stage
and lip-syncing a song - props, choreography, costumes and/or other ideas should be used and often impresses the judges and generates crowd response. Be creative!
Stage Presence & Choreography: Again, don’t just stand there! Engage the audience, dance, smile, make eye contact with the judges…you’re a STAR ---have fun!
Pre-registration is required to be able to participate in the battle. To register please call 803.279.2323
SPECTATE
DON'T HAVE THE NERVE TO GET ON STAGE?
COME HANG OUT, WATCH THE TEAMS PERFORM, AND DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY!
Purchase spectator tickets at the Chamber Offices or from one of the Battle Participants for $20. Spectators may also purchase online using your credit card or at the door the night of the event for $25.
