Augusta Arena Questions Headed to Ballot; Impact to be Determined

The question of whether to build a new James Brown Arena at Regency Mall or downtown, at the current arena site, is headed for a straw poll on the May 22 ballot, leaders of both local political parties say, but the actual impact of the nonbinding vote remains to be determined.
