NorthPointe Hospitality Management, LLC, a leader in hotel and resort development and management, has been selected to open and operate the Crowne Plaza Riverside Village in North Augusta, S.C.

The Crowne Plaza Riverside Village is scheduled to open by the end of 2018 as part of the exciting $200 million plus Riverside Village at Hammond’s Ferry development along the Savannah River in North Augusta, S.C.  The development will be anchored by a new stadium and home to the Augusta Green Jackets minor league baseball team, an affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. The hotel is planned to be five stories with 180 rooms and suites, a 120-seat restaurant and bar, rooftop bar, 5,000 sq. ft ballroom and meeting rooms, outdoor pool and fitness center.

Atlanta-based NorthPointe Hospitality Management will oversee the pre-opening sales and marketing, recruiting and training for all operational aspects of the new Crowne Plaza Riverside Village.  This will include a heavy emphasis on high-end food and beverage components, banquets, and culinary experiences and expertise.    

Riverside Village at Hammond’s Ferry is a new 30-acre mixed-use development that combines a beautifully crafted neighborhood, a vibrant town, event center, and sports complex all adjacent to the beautiful Savannah River.  With the new Green Jackets Stadium and a progressive live, work, play environment featuring premier national and local retailers, artisans and great dining options, Riverside Village will reshape Augusta and North Augusta into a dynamic destination for both visitors and the local community.
