Clarke & Concordia Engineering & Technology Initiatives Holds Annual CSRA Student Robotics Exposition

Tuesday, April 10th, 2018

CLARKE & CONCORDIA Engineering and Technology Initiatives, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated towards promoting and educating in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics disciplines in the CSRA community. Using private sponsor dollars from engineering companies and activist groups, we create, fund, host, and develop STEM initiatives like FIRST-affiliated Student Engineering Teams and local job-training programs to facilitate and cultivate organic interest in the sciences in the CSRA. We endeavor to develop early-exposure interest in STEM fields as our children advance through their academic career, and we aspire to help adults become certified technicians and specialists and achieve greater things.

The experiences and lessons learned and endured from participating on a CCETI subsidiary Student Engineering Team is invaluable and will serve our community well in the future when we have provided a plethora of veteran, impassioned workers; whom are all-too-eager to pay back the tremendous contribution of their community in support of a program like this one.

We would like to invite all interested parties to attend our 3rd annual CSRA Student Robotics Exposition which is being held on Saturday, May 5th from 10am – 3pm at the USC-Aiken Convocation Center, 2049 Champion Way, Graniteville, SC  29829; and is free to the public.  We will have most of our robotics teams from the area schools represented as they go through both demonstrations and an actual robotics tournament.  We are looking to showcase the progress our program has made in the few years it has been established, as well as generate an interest from local businesses and students that may be interested in being a part of our future success.
