DOE Asks Court to Shut MOX, Delay Plutonium Removal

The Department of Energy has filed related briefs with the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals asking it to overturn an injunction forbidding the closure of the mixed-oxide fuel project and release it from a promise to remove one metric ton of plutonium from Savannah River Site by 2020.
