Local Minority Business Owner to Reflect on Life In North Augusta February 26th

The North Augusta Chamber of Commerce will be kicking off it’s 2019 Good Morning North Augusta Series with Guest Speaker Reverend Dr. George L. Brightharp, owner, G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, the oldest minority-owned business in Downtown North Augusta speaking on life in North Augusta as a minority.

Reverend Dr. George Brightharp will discuss being born and raised in North Augusta and the relationships he’s cultivated over the years with other business owners and community leaders. He will also discuss his start as a minority entrepreneur and how the social climate 40 years ago impacted the opening of his business.

Join the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, February 26th as we celebrate a local leader in honor of Black History Month. The Chamber’s Good Morning North Augusta Breakfast will be held at the North Augusta Municipal Building, Palmetto Terrace Ballroom at 7:30AM.
