Augusta Commission OKs New Sheriff’s Precinct at Publix Shopping Center

The Augusta Commission approved Tuesday creating a fifth precinct for the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at the Publix shopping center owned by an Augusta National Golf Club entity, pending review by the city Law and Finance departments.
