Augusta Commission: Paid Parking Stalls, Jail Demolition Moves Forward

The Augusta Commission put on hold Mayor Hardie Davis’ plan to charge for on-street parking downtown and also vetoed postponing demolition of the former county jail for its use as a film set Tuesday.
