Tuesday, June 30th, 2020
Columbia County Water Utility has installed two multi-level water bottle filling stations along the Evans to Locks Multi-Use Trail for citizens to use and enjoy while they are out walking, running, or biking the multi-use path. The multi-level filling station is an outdoor, freestanding filling station that includes the option for citizens to refill their water bottles; drink directly from the fountain; and features a pet fountain.
One of the multi-level filling stations can be found at the intersection of Evans to Locks Road and Hunterdale Road while the second filling station is located along Evans to Locks Road across from West Port Road. The Evans to Locks Multi-Use trail is approximately 6 miles long and runs from Evans Towne Center Park to Savannah Rapids Park.
The filling stations were installed by Water Utility’s Distribution department and are available for everyone to enjoy!
