New Rescue Truck Arrives for Columbia County Fire Rescue

Columbia County Fire Rescue (CCFR) is pleased to announce the arrival of a new Rescue Truck at Station 2, Gibbs Road. The new rescue truck will be replacing a 2001 Ford 350 Light Duty Rescue Truck.
The International CV5500 Light Duty Rescue Truck purchased by Columbia County Fire Rescue is an Extended Cab Light Duty Rescue. Light Duty Rescues are designed for chassis with a limited Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. It consists of outer panels and exterior compartment walls that provide additional fire support, electrical outlets, lighting, generators, hydraulics for auto extrication, and a fill station for breathing air systems.
The new Rescue 2 Truck is now in service at Station 2.
