Augusta Sports Council Announces 2020 GAMES Scholarship Recipients

The Augusta Sports Council Board of Directors are proud to announce the ten recipients for the annual GAMES Scholarship Program. The recipients were chosen by the GAMES Scholarship Committee from a list of nominated senior student-athletes, based on their performances in the classroom, as members of their athletic programs, and their positive impact on their community. Each recipient receives a $1,000 scholarship to support advancement in their education.

Cori Brown, A.R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet School (Augusta University)
Sean "Mickey" Burke, Aquinas High School (Jacksonville University)
Katy Earwood, Evans High School (Georgia Tech)
Jamie Lester, Briarwood Academy (Oglethorpe)
Kaylee Morris, North Augusta High School (Clemson)
Brycen Patterson, Strom Thurmond High School (Clemson)
Harper Puckett, Midland Valley High School (Clemson)
Hailey Sparks, Lucy Craft Laney High School (Charleston Southern)

To date, the Augusta Sports Council has awarded over $48,000 in college scholarships to 38 graduating high school student athletes in the Augusta community.
