Fleet Feet Augusta Yankee Doodle Dash 5K/10K

Kick off your Labor Day celebration on the River. Get your 5K or 10K in before you fire up the grill. This flat out and back course follows the scenic Savannah River. Choose either the 5K or 10K. Chip Timed & Finisher medals for the 1st 275 registrants. Recognition will be given to the top male and female overall as well as the top three men and women in each age group.

Age groups:
10k: 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
5k: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Registration and bib pick-up 6:00 - 6:45 a.m.

It is a ladies’ day at the range open to females only, ages 16 and over .This program will introduce them to the shooting sports. Cost is $20, and you need to pre- register. You don’t need to bring anything but a friend, all firearms, ammunition, eye/ear protection will be provided.

Practical Shooting measures the shooter’s ability to shoot rapidly and accurately through obstacle-laden courses. The shooter moves,negotiates, runs, covers, and speed reloads through the stage as fast as their skill will allow.  If this fast paced shooting sounds like fun, come out and give it a try. Specific division requirements can be found at http://uspsa.org.  Starts at 9:30 AM and cost will be $20 ($15 for Pinetucky members, active duty military, police, and fire).
