Augusta Close to Hiring Savannah City Manager Finalist Odie Donald

A Savannah city manager finalist is in negotiations with Augusta’s mayor about becoming its next city administrator.
Odie Donald II, currently South Fulton’s city manager, was among the three finalists interviewed two weeks ago in Savannah. Neither Donald nor the other two finalists, Cahula Barnes and John Pombier, garnered enough support from the Savannah City Council to be offered the Savannah job.
