Pediatric Partners Grovetown Facility Recognized as Patient Centered Medical Home

Friday, January 8th, 2021

The Grovetown location of Pediatric Partners of Augusta has been recognized as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The Evans and downtown Augusta offices received the honor again in July. They have been recognized annually since 2016.

“This is quite an honor and a true stamp of approval for our practice and the children whom we serve,” said Dr. Karen Foushee, founding partner of Pediatric Partners of Augusta. “This recognizes the quality of what we do on a daily basis for our patients.”

The National Committee for Quality Assurance says that PCMHs improve quality and the patient experience, increase staff satisfaction and reduce health care costs. Practices that earn the recognition have made a commitment to continuous quality improvement and a patient-centered approach to care.

The NCQA was founded as a nonprofit in the early 1990s to measure and accredit health plans. The organization uses measurement, transparency and accountability to highlight top performers and drive improvement in the health care industry. For more information, go to NCQA.org.
