Georgia Power Helps Bring Electric Vehicle Charging to Martinez

Georgia Power has launched a new community electric vehicle (EV) charger at EnMarket at 221 Bobby Jones Expressway in Martinez, GA 30907.

The EV charger is available for use starting today, with complimentary charging through March 2nd.

Georgia Power is proud to partner with EnMarket Stores to bring electric vehicle fast charging to the eastern part of Georgia and the I-20 corridor. As part of a statewide initiative to enable EV adoption and connect communities, Georgia Power is building a network of safe, reliable and convent charging infrastructure for an ever-growing market segment of drivers.

Charging sessions require ChargePoint authorization, which is available at www.georgiapower.chargepoint.com

The installation represents the newest technology in EV fast chargers, offering charging speeds up to 125kW – adding 100 miles in 12 minutes – dual dispensers and power sharing capability. Georgia Power has installed chargers in several cities including Rome, Columbus, Lavonia, Kingsland, Tifton, Forest Park and Milledgeville.
