Kyle Titus, Director of Engineering Services in Columbia County, Named Engineer of the Year

Columbia County Administration is pleased to announce that Kyle Titus, PE, Director of Engineering Services, has been named Engineer of the Year in Government by the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers (GSPE) for 2021. Kyle was presented this award during a virtual event held on Tuesday, February 23 by GSPE.

The winners of the 2021 Engineer of the Year awards exhibit a vast depth and breadth of knowledge in their engineering field, and all have worked hard to advance and expand the engineering profession. The GSPE recognized eight creative individuals and one company who show passion for their work and contribute to the betterment of the engineering community.

Graham Sizemore, EIT, President of the GSPE, Augusta Chapter states, “His positive attitude and responsible stewardship of the funds allocated to improve the infrastructure in Columbia County is important for citizens and engineers alike. [Titus’s] selfless attitude and willingness to pitch in to the community is recognized and appreciated throughout the Central Savannah River Area.”

Kyle Titus has been with Columbia County serving as the Director of Engineering Services since April 2020. He has been a great asset to the team and provides a committed focus to improving Columbia County. Kyle oversees all aspects of engineering projects throughout the county.
