New Augusta Tax Chief Chosen; Contract Awaits Commission Approval

The Richmond County Board of Assessors has selected a veteran deputy appraiser to replace Chief Appraiser Alveno Ross.
The board looked in-house and picked Scott Rountree, one of two deputy chief appraisers recently promoted by Ross before he retired last month.
