The Greater Augusta Arts Council is proud to announce that the 2021 nomination process for the annual arts awards is underway. Community members are encouraged to nominate an individual or organization for their impactful work in Augusta’s art community.

The Annual Awards meeting is a staple of the Arts Council’s yearly events, held each summer to recognize outstanding work and development in the community. The nominations process is open now through May 2, 2021 at noon. The award winners will be recognized at the Annual Awards night event, online only, on June 17, 2021, at 6pm.

There are several awards that are given in this process, including; volunteer, arts professional, individual artist, media, sponsor and the Kath Girdler Engler Public Art Award.
