Spherion Staffing Augusta announced today that it has been presented with the President’s and Safety Excellence awards. The prestigious honors came during the company’s annual national meeting, held virtually this March. 

Under Angela Swarts’ leadership, Spherion Staffing Augusta delivered impressive growth in 2020, securing 26 new clients. Growing the business meant expanding and developing the team, so with the mindset of an emergent employer, Swarts invested in new team members and allowed several colleagues to work flexible schedules. In addition, the team successfully maneuvered through the pandemic’s challenges and workforce uncertainty in the area. More recently, Swarts used her community to follow Spherion’s 2021 rally call, “Let’s Get to Work!”, a response to inspire America to fill the thousands of jobs still available in communities across the nation.

The 2021 national meeting, held from March 23 through the 26, was themed: Reflect, Refresh and Refocus. Owners had the chance to connect with each other, hear from corporate team members and gain insights from industry experts. Throughout the event, owners, like Swarts, were also recognized for their accomplishments during the past 12 months.
