Local Artist Organizes Augusta Themed Poster Show at SRP Park

Local artist and independent graphic designer Jason Craig put out the call for artists and the response was overwhelming. Creatives from across the country are drawing inspiration from Georgia’s second largest city to make large posters that will be displayed and for sale July 23 & 24 at the Wow! Club at SRP Park in North Augusta.
“I travel to do shows like this every year but 2020 made that impossible. I want to put on a show that will be remembered and celebrated,” says show organizer and participant Jason Craig.
Bennish Brown, Executive Director of the Augusta Convention and Visitors Bureau, Nancy Glaser, Executive Director of the Augusta History Museum and local music promotor Coco Rubio will judge the show and award artists that best capture the spirit, soul and heart of Augusta. Those who attend the VIP Preview on Friday can cast their vote for crowd favorite and have the first chance to purchase posters. Saturdays event is free to the public from 11am-7pm.
