Joint Senate and House Redistricting Hearing in Augusta Cancelled

Sen. John F. Kennedy (R – Macon), Chair of the Senate Committee on Reapportionment and Redistricting, and Rep. Bonnie Rich (R – Suwannee), Chair of the House Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment Committee, have announced that due to the Governor’s declaration of a state of emergency in the Augusta area, the Joint Senate and House Redistricting Hearing scheduled for today, July 7, 2021 in Augusta has been CANCELLED.
Information regarding the meeting being rescheduled will be announced at a later date.

Over the next several weeks, the Senate Committee on Reapportionment and Redistricting and the House Committee on Congressional and Legislative Reapportionment will hold additional joint hearings in Brunswick, Albany, Columbus and Macon, as well as a virtual participation option.
