District Attorney To Speak At Columbia County Chamber Executive Luncheon Series

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will host its Executive Luncheon Series on Wednesday, August 18 at Savannah Rapids Pavilion. Networking will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the program slated to begin at noon. 

Bobby Christine, District Attorney of the Columbia Judicial Circuit will give the keynote address. He was appointed by Governor Brian Kemp to serve as District Attorney for the newly created Columbia Judicial Circuit. Previously Christine served as the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia and Acting U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia as an additional duty. 

Christine graduated with his Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham after earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. He earned his commission as an Army Combat Engineer offer from Georgia Military College in Milledgeville where he was co-valedictorian and Distinguished Military Graduate and Student. Among Christine’s military awards and citations are the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Bronze Star medal and the parachutist badge. In 2016, Christine was selected the Army Career Judge Advocate of the Year.
