COVID-19 Cases Continue Decline in Augusta-area School Districts

Aiken County schools reported 118 student cases and 22 employee cases on Tuesday from positive cases reported the week of Sept. 12-18, a decrease from 209 students and 27 employees the previous week. There are also currently 4,613 students and 80 employees reported as quarantined.
The school system has 23,330 students and 3,371 employees. In its documentation the school district does not specify numbers fewer than five.\
