Amazon Executive Slated to Speak at ELS

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will host its Executive Luncheon Series on Wednesday, November 17 at Savannah Rapids Pavilion. Networking will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the program slated to begin promptly at noon.
Robert Packett, Southeastern Regional Director of Operations at Amazon will speak on “Turning Team Members into Team Leaders.” Packett leads a team of more than 20,000 professionals, who are the heart and soul of Amazon operations.
Packett is a nine year veteran of Amazon fulfillment, leading multiple business units from reverse logistics, online fulfillment, Kindle, and Amazon Robotics. His passion is people and process. In his own words, “Investment in our people leads to delighted customers.” Before Amazon, he honorably served as an Operations Director and Logistician with the Defense Intelligence Agency and the United States Air Force.

Members can purchase a ticket for $35 or table of 8 for $300, while prospective members can reserve a seat for $45. The Executive Luncheon Series is presented by Queensborough National Bank & Trust Company.
