City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department Announces Festival of Trees Participants Wanted: 2021 Festival of Trees

Thursday, November 11th, 2021

The City of Aiken Visitors Center & Train Museum is seeking participants for its Fifth Annual Festival of Trees to be held, Friday, December 3rd – Friday, December 31st (tree lighting is on Friday, December 3rd at 4pm). Each December, local businesses and organizations decorate holiday trees and display them at the City of Aiken Visitors Center & Train Museum at 406 Park Ave SE, Aiken. Visitors vote on their favorite tree, with the winner receiving a holiday-themed gift basket and their tree featured in an advertisement in the Aiken Standard. Participation is a great way for businesses and groups to reach new audiences. Last December alone, the City of Aiken Visitors Center & Train Museum had hundreds of visitors come through our door to specifically see the trees! There is no cost to participate, but space is offered on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to display a tree, forms will be available for pick up at the City of Aiken Visitors Center and Train Museum or by contacting Sheri T. Clemons at [email protected]. Forms must be completed by Nov. 17th, and participants will be notified of acceptance by Nov. 19th.
