2022 Annual Augusta Arts Awards Nominations Process Open

The Greater Augusta Arts Council is proud to announce that the 2022 nomination process for the Annual Augusta Arts Awards is underway. The Augusta Community is encouraged to nominate an individual or organization for their impactful work in Augusta’s art community. The Annual Augusta Arts Awards is a staple of the Arts Council’s yearly events and is held each summer to recognize outstanding work and development in the community. The nominations process is open through April 24, 2022 at noon. The award winners will be recognized at the Annual Augusta Arts Awards cocktail event on June 23rd, 6pm at The Foundry. There are several awards that are presented including volunteer, arts professional, individual artist, media, sponsor, and the Kath Girdler Engler Public Art Award. The Arts Council is excited to announce that Russell Joel Brown will be the recipient of the 2022 President’s Award.
