Augusta University to Take on University of South Carolina Aiken on March 31st

SRP Park in partnership with the Augusta University Jaguars and the University of South Carolina Aiken Pacers are excited to announce the return of the Battle on the River Rivalry Peach Belt Conference game slated for Thursday, March 31st. Tickets for the general public are on sale now. First pitch is slated for 6:35 pm. Gates will open at 5:30 pm.

“The annual Battle of the Paddle game versus USC Aiken gives our players an incredible opportunity to play in a beautiful ballpark,” stated Augusta University Jaguars Head Coach, Chris Howell. “This game brings excitement to the students and communities every year. We look forward to a great crowd and showdown on the River.”

The Jaguars will be in the home third base dugout and the Pacers will be in the first base dugout. Individual tickets for the general public are on sale now! To purchase fans will need to visit greenjacketsbaseball.com starting at 10 am or visit the SRP Park Box Office (187 Railroad Avenue). There will be NO phone orders.

“We’re looking forward to the opportunity to play at SRP Park against Augusta University on March 31st. It’s become an every season occurrence to play a midweek game verse them at SRP Park,” stated USC Aiken Head Coach, Michael Holder. “Hopefully we can continue to play at such a nice venue annually and continue to draw large crowds like we have over the past several years.”

· Lower Bowl Seating (General Admission): $10

· College Students with ID and Kids 4-12: $5

· Kids 3 and under: Free (ticket given at gate)

· Parking will be $5 at the Stadium Deck (located directly across from the SRP Park)
