Bowtreader to Launch 3D Archery Tour of Georgia in Augusta
Friday, March 4th, 2022
Statesboro local archery and outdoors store, Bowtreader, will launch a 3D archery shoot across the state of Georgia at seven strategic locations, to bring the sport of archery to people in various communities throughout 2022. The first 3D shoot will kick off on Saturday, March 19, through Sunday, March 20 in Augusta, Georgia at the Savannah Riverkeeper Headquarters. The event is expected to bring in 250-300 participants.
“Our mission is simple,” John Keene, the owner of Bowtreader, explained. “Encourage others to live an active lifestyle in the great outdoors, be engaged as Patriots in this great country, and live vertically. As we begin this tour, we will affirm that mission in tangible ways all across the state of Georgia.”
This event will feature two shooting ranges, with one specifically for children and new archers, called the “Discovery Zone.” This range will be staffed with volunteers who have bows at the ready for attendees to shoot if needed.
Bowtreader is partnering with the Savannah Riverkeeper Organization to use a property located on the Savannah River in Augusta, as well as partnering with the Augusta Sports Council to promote the event in the Augusta community.
