The Builders Association and Sales & Marketing Council of Metro Augusta Announces Stellar Award Winners

The Builders Association and Sales & Marketing Council (SMC) of Metro Augusta is pleased to announce last night’s recipients of the 2021 Stellar Awards presented by Colony Bank. It was a fantastic year in the region for new home sales agents, Builders and subcontractors/suppliers for the industry.

We presented our three most Prestigious Builder Awards last night to include:

The Community Service Award presented to Mark & Matt Ivey, with Ivey Homes for their “Buy Ivey, Build Community” Campaign. The campaign donated a portion of each new home sale in 2021. The campaign raised over $63,000 for local charities here in the Greater CSRA. They also participated in the Paceline Ride to support cancer research and the Builders Community Fund to support education in our industry. In 2021, they gave over $95,000 back to our community.

Our first ever SMC Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Mark Herbert, Herbert Homes, Inc. For over 40 years Mark has given of his time and talents to the home building industry. He served as a State Home Builders President, as well as on committees nationally and locally. He always like to say, “We are community!” This is exactly what Mark practices daily. He not only provides quality homes in our area, but he also gives to many local non-profits to include Child Enrichment, iCARE for the Voiceless, AUSA Fort Gordon Chapter, and many others.

Our 2021 Builder Executive of the Year was presented to Mark Ivey, Co-Owner of Ivey Homes. Since 2004, Ivey Homes has been filling the needs in housing, to include single family homes, active adult living and multi-family. For the past 10 years, they have also received the Guild Master Award for excellence in customer service. Mark has served on local, state and national home builders boards and committees since 2007. He also serves on several community organizations and is an active member at Warren Baptist Church.
