Chamber Foundation to Host Signing Banquet

The Columbia County Chamber Foundation will participate in their second annual Signing Banquet on May 3, 2022, 5:00-7:00 pm at Jabez Hardin Auditorium.
 
Columbia County high school students will sign letters of intent reflecting their commitment to the Columbia County Summer Internship program and their designated business. The students will begin programs in a variety of business industries including manufacturing, construction, technology, automotive, community development, painting, human resources, non-profit and culinary arts.
 
The Signing Banquet highlights the importance of student internship opportunities which encourage partnerships and articulation agreements between high schools and local businesses. These partnerships prepare students, who are the future workforce of Columbia County, for promising careers.
 
Columbia County Summer Internship is a program of the Columbia County Chamber Foundation and presented by AT&T, the program will provide Columbia County high school students with the opportunity to intern at a local CSRA business during an 8-week program in the summer.
