"LIVING TECH LAB" Grand Opening Set for June 15th
Monday, June 13th, 2022
IntelliSystems, an Augusta-based firm specializing in business IT services, telecommunications, and cabling and wireless contracting, has completed a $2,000,000-plus capital investment in West Augusta. “We have thoroughly enjoyed our first 28 years in Downtown Augusta,” explains Founder, President, and CEO Kevin Wade. “But we have grown our staff to the point where we need much more interior space and additional parking.” In addition to the executive management team, IntelliSystems has 23 certified technical engineers and IT technicians on staff. “The consensus was that now was the perfect time to reunify all of our staff under one big, beautiful, solar-powered roof. Furthermore, we felt that a technology firm should embody the very latest in ‘smart building’ advancements so that our Augusta headquarters could serve as a ‘living tech lab’ to demonstrate just how effective, functional, efficient, and comfortable tomorrow’s technology could actually be.”
Grand Opening Celebration
The IntelliSystems “Living Tech Lab” Grand Opening Celebration will be a “by invitation only” occasion for special guests and media invitees from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 15th. Both the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and the
Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will conduct ribbon-cutting ceremonies during the drop-in event with a festive feel. “We are planning refreshments to include deep-fried hot dogs, chips, beer, wine, and soft drinks,” explains Mr. Wade. “We’ll have music, balloons, giveaways, raffles, cornhole stations, and more.” Kevin Wade and his team will also be available for guided tours of the unique new facility, offering guests a chance to talk about solar power generation, energy-efficient environmental controls, sound masking, the reflective roof, etc.
