Monday, July 25th, 2022
The Georgia Department of Education released Georgia Milestones data this morning. Following guidance from the federal and state education regulatory agencies, the school system will use the data as a new baseline to inform student learning needs and evaluate student academic growth and achievement.
In response to the new testing data, Dr. Kenneth Bradshaw released the following statement:
“The Georgia Milestones results released today give us a new baseline to build and evaluate student achievement growth. We are already laser focused on taking action in our classrooms to advance student learning. Over the last year, we have invested in new textbooks, technology access and support resources to help our children succeed. With the support and partnership of our families and community, we will see our students achieve at higher levels.”
