Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival Street Closings

Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival will be held on September 16. 17 and 18 in downtown, Augusta, GA. The following street closings will be implemented on the designated dates and times:

Tuesday, September 13 at 11pm:

Albion & Broad St.
8th Street (from Ellis to Broad)
9th Street (next to the Board of Education from Ellis to Broad)
Broad Street will close from 6th Street to 10th Street
Wednesday, September 14 at 11pm:

McCartan from Broad to Jones
9th Street from Broad to Jones
The parking well on the 600 block of Broad Street (across from the Ramada hotel)
Friday, September 16 at 9am: One lane (eastbound) of Reynolds will close from 9th to 8th street

All closures will remain in place until after the festival ends and the Sheriff’s Department deems the areas to be safe for traffic. The festival closes to the public on Sunday night, September 18th at 7pm. This plan approved by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Department.

Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival will encompass the Augusta Common and the 600, 700, 800 and 900 Blocks of Broad Street and features a unique Global Food Village with international food from 18 countries, an Artists Market with over 130 juried Fine Artists booths, 5 stages of non-stop performances, and a large Family Area that includes hands-on activities for kids, street performers, and a Young Artists Market.

Advanced Festival badges are $12 per person and available online and at select local locations. Children 10 and under are admitted free. Badges are $15 per person at the Festival entrance gates. Badges are good for admission for the entire weekend.
