There will be a special bibliography of resources available prepared by the Augusta Richmond County Library for this program. After the panel discussion, there will be an opportunity for questions from the audience and then a reception and tours of the historic Court of Ordinary and Telfair Street Synagogue. In July 2021, with the assistance of Historic Augusta, these buildings were saved from demolition and have now been turned over to the Augusta Jewish Museum for the creation of educational exhibits (currently being designed by HW Exhibits of Mt. Pleasant SC).
For the last several years, including during the pandemic closures, the board and volunteers of the Augusta Jewish Museum have partnered with other local agencies such as the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, the Augusta Junior Players with Anne and Emmett, and Augusta University Office of Diversity to bring quality educational programming to the Savannah River Region.
