Smart City Expo USA comes on the heels of EXPO I, which Mayor Davis attended in Bogota, Colombia. As chair of Smart City Expo 2022, Mayor Davis will host panel discussions, participate as a panelist, and lead attendees in learning and networking opportunities during the event.
“I am proud to serve as Chair of Smart City Expo USA 2022 and to partner with Mayors across the country who are committed to ensuring that smart cities are driven by investments in equitable infrastructure, not just intelligent infrastructure. As we look to flying cars and new forms of mobility, we must first advance economic and social mobility. Cities will only become “smart” when equity, prosperity, humanity, inclusion, and justice are on pr with blockchain, A.I., IoT, big data, and automation”, said Davis.
Mayor Davis along with event speakers from local, state, and federal government, corporate organizations, and non-profits, will share their vision, wisdom, insight, and best practices for developing smart, equitable, and sustainable cities with those in attendance.
Smart City Expo USA has developed cutting-edge programming to prepare cities for tomorrow while solving urgent issues of today. Their goal is to harness $1T of federal funds to build inclusive and resilient cities through electrification, climate resiliency, cybersecurity, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and web3, urban air mobility. AI and edge technology, big data, education equity, the future of work, next-gen infrastructure, and more.
