Augusta Technical College is pleased to announce that Mr. Nicholas Wood has been elected to the Augusta Technical College Board of Directors.

Nic serves as the Administrator for Piedmont McDuffie Hospital. Prior to this role, he served as a regional administrator of hospital medicine and a business development manager/analyst at Piedmont. Early in his career he was an operations manager for Williams Sewer and Drain, Inc.

Mr. Wood earned both his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Georgia Southern University.

He’s active in his community and has affiliations with the Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce, Thomson-McDuffie Archway Executive Committee, Thomson Rotary, Leadership McDuffie Class of 2022, and Stevens Creek Church where he serves on the Elder Board.
