In an effort to improve efficiency and consistency, the Richmond County School System (RCSS) has launched a new public records management system to receive and respond to Open Records requests.

“We are streamlining and simplifying our process for citizens to inspect records generated by our school system,” says Lynthia Ross, RCSS Chief Public Relations Officer. “We are excited about the enhanced service and transparency that the portal helps us offer the community.”

Through the portal, the public can submit requests for public records. The community will also be able to access other requests that have been made available to the public without submitting a request. The link to submit an Open Records request can be found at rcboe.org/openrecords or at richmondcountyschoolsystemga.nextrequest.com.

The portal went live on August 10, 2022.
