Five of the CSRA’s top bakers will compete in “The Art of Dessert”  a black-tie gala to be held on Nov. 4 to raise funds in support of the Georgia-Carolina Council’s mission to provide quality Scouting programs, facilities and opportunities for boys and girls in the community.

Bakers to compete for the title of Judge’s and Audience’s Best include Arie’s Confectionaries, Bottomline Bakery, Edgar’s Bakehouse, La Bonbonniere and Sinless Sweets. Augusta native and local food promoter Scott Russell will do the honors of serving as the competition’s guest judge. Russell hosts Love Augusta, a web series that focuses on highlighting local businesses in the area, and the popular Instagram page, @6bitesin.

Tickets may be purchased at https://www.gacacouncil.org/fdl2022 and include dinner, an open bar, and all five desserts entered for the competition. The cost is $125 per person, $250 for couples, and $1000 for a table.

The event will also feature a raffle to win tickets to the upcoming Guitar Pull 2022 and a silent auction that will have close to 100 items available for bid.
