Augusta Jewish Museum, new regional cultural center for the Savannah River Region, has its first benefit concert on Saturday November 5, 2022 at 7:45 pm at the Morris Museum of Art Auditorium! The ticketed benefit, in an intimate setting, features well known music historian and author of "American Songbook"  Michael Lasser along with extraordinary musicians Alan Jones and Jessica Ann Best followed by a delightful ticketed reception. Please promote to your circles - flyers in various formats are attached.

Tickets are available online at  https://www.augustajewishmuseum.org/events-1/a-bissel-little-bit-of-this-a-bissel-of-that-a-whole-lot-of-music

Proceeds benefit the Augusta Jewish Museum's continued restoration of two downtown historic buildings recently saved through community support and Historic Augusta Inc. The historic Court of Ordinary built in 1860 once housed Richmond County's important records and the historic Telfair Street Synagogue built in 1869 was home to Congregation Children of Israel with members from the Augusta GA and Hamburg/Aiken SC areas. The buildings were saved from demolition by July 2021 and the City of Augusta deeded the buildings for AJM to offer cultural education and a future cultural center rental venue. AJM thanks its sponsors and supporters.
