Golden Harvest Food Bank will be holding 2 produce distributions in the parking lot of its Faith Food Factory location on November 3 andNovember 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Families will have the opportunity to have fresh produce loaded into their vehicles to take home to put on the dinner table. The location is across the street from the Food Bank’s main warehouse.

In alignment with the company's strategic plan, Golden Harvest Food Bank and its over 300 partner agencies have continued to provide fresh produce for community members in need. Data from Feeding America shows that 1 in 8 in Golden Harvest's 25 county service area are food insecure.

“Over the past few months we’ve seen an increase in numbers in people reaching out to our food bank for resources, ” said Golden Harvest Food Bank President & CEO Amy Breitmann. “With the help of our partner agencies and their work on the front lines, we want to make sure that we are doing the most we can to help families have fresh, healthy produce to add to their plates at the dinner table.”

Volunteers will place fresh produce which may include items such as carrots, corn, potatoes, and radishes in the trunks of incoming vehicles. Each car may receive enough produce to feed two families. Please arrive in a vehicle with the trunk empty.
