The Richmond County School System will host the 5th Annual Battle of the Bands of Sunday, November 6 at Lumpkin Road Stadium on the campus of Butler High School beginning at 3 p.m.

The event will feature Richmond County bands including Academy of Richmond County, Butler, Cross Creek, Glenn Hills, Hephzibah, Josey, Laney and Westside High Schools, as well as Burke County High School.

Invited guest bands include: South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC; Savannah State University, Savannah, GA; Talladega College, Talladega, AL; Mundy’s Mill High School, Jonesboro, GA; Berkmar High School, Lilburn, GA; Kendrick High School, Columbus, GA; McDonough High School, McDonough, GA; and Benjamin Banneker High School, Atlanta, GA.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. Tickets can be purchased at participating high schools or at GoFan.co.
