Woody Belangia, President and CEO of ATC Development, has appointed Kurt Eyring as his successor as President of ATC Construction, a key subsidiary to the company. Eyring previously served as the Vice-president of Development and Construction for ATC Development for the past four years.
In his role as President, he will oversee land acquisition, product design & development, and coordinate the combined efforts of construction and development.
“Kurt will make a tremendous president of our construction company. His drive, intelligence, and experience will serve the company well both now and in the future.” says Belangia. “Under his direction, I expect ATC Construction will evolve into a full-fledged design/build construction company, to build not only for ATC but for other clients.”
Eyring has been immersed in Commercial and Multi-Family development and construction throughout his career. He is a recognized expert in the design-build delivery of commercial development projects and has experience in multiple project delivery methods including Integrated Project Delivery methodology utilizing LEAN concepts and procedures. Previously, as the Vice President, he coordinated the efforts of both Development and Construction while overseeing all projects from concept to completion.
“I am thrilled to lead our development and construction teams as President and I am grateful for the opportunity,” stated Eyring. “I look forward to the meaningful work we will do together in providing the best possible homes for our residents while enabling us to achieve our goals as a company”.
Prior to joining ATC Development, Eyring was a Partner with Miller Valentine Group, and led the operations for their Southeast Office in Columbia, SC. He served as the leader of the development, design and construction for numerous key customers including Procter and Gamble, Dominos, Home Depot, IAMS, and others. His professional experience includes numerous signature projects including industrial warehousing, manufacturing, mid-rise office, retail, climate-controlled storage, military base housing, mixed-use and multi-family housing.
Eyring has a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, is a General Contractor Agent in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina, and is LEED AP and OSHA certified. He belongs to many professional associations, several of which he has held Board positions, including Associated Builders and Contractors, AGC, CCIM, ASCE, LCI, Vistage and others.
