United Way of the CSRA Welcomes Eight New Members to the Board of Directors

United Way of the CSRA has recently announced new community leaders to its 2023
Board of Directors. Elected by its Board of Directors, these local community leaders include executives
from a variety of organizations throughout the community and bring their career expertise and passion for
philanthropy to advance our mission of Leading Families Forward.
New members elected to a 3-year term to the Board of Directors include:
• Mike Bailey Factory Manager, John Deere
• Dr. Malinda Cobb Associate Superintendent, Richmond County School System
• Joanna Conley CEO, Doctor’s Hospital
• Beth Frits Leadership Program Manager, Columbia County Chamber
• Patrick Martino Site Vice President, Southern Nuclear (Vogtle 3&4)
• Scott Peebles Chief Deputy Marshal, Richmond County Marshal’s Office
• Bill Woodward Office Leader, Elliott Davis
• Craig Tatum Resident Mill Manager, Graphic Packaging International
“We are looking forward to working with our newest board members and are incredibly grateful that they
have chosen to invest their time with their local United Way,” said Brittany Burnett, President and CEO of
United Way of the CSRA. United Way of the CSRA Board of Directors are responsible for overseeing the
organization’s mission and raise awareness around the Leading Families Forward initiative, which aims
to help residents across four focus areas in our 12 county footprint: Childhood Success, Youth Success,
Workforce Development, and Access to Resources.
