The Salvation Army of Augusta Hosts a Monthly Distribution for Those in Need
Friday, March 31st, 2023
On Friday, March 31, from 2 - 4 pm, The Salvation Army of Augusta will be hosting a distribution day with Marion Barnes Resource and Referral Center, The Richmond County Marshal's Office, the Department of Public Health, and many more area agencies for those affected by or at risk of homelessness. This event, Connection to Community at the Center of Hope, is a monthly distribution that will provide goods, resources, services, and casework to all in need. It will be held on the last Friday of every month from 2 - 4 pm on the front lawn of the Center of Hope at 1384 Greene Street.
We are thankful for all of our community partners who have joined with us to make this monthly distribution happen," said Major Jonathan Raymer, Augusta Area Commander & Senior Kroc Officer. "Hosting a monthly distribution day with our partners means we can provide more solutions to those who need it most."
With inflation rising and the uncertainty of a post-COVID economy, The Salvation Army is providing relief to more people than ever and needs your support.
