Gold Cross Stop Ambulance Service in Augusta; Central Takes Over

Central EMS is officially in place as Richmond County’s ambulance service.
According to a statement from the city, as of Sunday morning around 6 a.m., “Central EMS is in place and providing EMS service to Augusta-Richmond County. There are currently eight units and a quick response vehicle in operation.” See more.
